Support Family Farmers in Suit Against Monsanto
January 23, 2012 On January 31, family farmers will take part in the first phase of a court case filed to protect farmers from genetic trespass by Monsanto’s GMO seed, which can contaminate organic and non-GMO crops and expose their farmers to abusive lawsuits by Monsanto for patent infringement.
The judge has agreed to hear oral arguments in this landmark case to decide whether or not this case will move forward. Genesis Farm is one of 83 plaintiffs in this case.
A number of plaintiffs are organizing a "Citizen's Assembly" outside the courthouse on January 21st. Details are included below.
